Disclosure: who performs water damage and drying work
Sullivan Water Damage Restoration answers calls and web requests about water damage, extraction, structural drying and clean-up in Sullivan, Jefferson County and the nearby towns, and refers each request to one independent local company, the partner. That company alone is responsible for the assessment, the price, the equipment, the drying plan, the work performed and any subcontractor it brings in. Sullivan Water Damage Restoration does not perform mitigation, repair, plumbing, mold work or reconstruction and sends no crew to any property.
Where a credential is required, the obligation to hold it is the partner’s. No Wisconsin licence specific to water extraction and drying was identified and none is asserted for anyone. Plumbing work requires a licence from the Department of Safety and Professional Services; permitted repair of a one- or two-family dwelling generally involves that Department’s dwelling contractor credentials; renovation of a pre-1978 home requires lead-safe renovation credentials from the Department of Health Services; and work that may disturb asbestos-containing material falls under the rules the Department of Natural Resources administers. The partner also carries its own insurance. Sullivan Water Damage Restoration and this website hold no such licence, certification or insurance, claim none, and do not represent that any company’s credentials have been verified by them. Private industry certifications are not government licences and are not claimed here for anyone.
A customer may ask the partner for its licence or certification number at any time, on the telephone line published on this site or from the partner directly, and may ask to see the document before work is agreed. The number is not printed on these pages, for the privacy of a small private business, and anything you are told can be checked with the issuing agency — the Department of Safety and Professional Services, the Department of Health Services or the Department of Natural Resources as the case may be. Whether your loss is covered, and to what extent, is decided by your own insurer under your policy, not by this service or by the partner.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Repair and reconstruction work in Wisconsin is regulated by that state's contractor licensing board. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
